All of our MIDI files are programmed for General MIDI synth modules and sound cards. GM patches and all relevant controllers have been inserted into the first measure. If you do not use a GM synth, simply delete measure 1 on each channel and insert your own patches. All our files comes as Type 1 MIDI files - Type 1 files have parts on separate tracks and drums are always on MIDI channel 10. These files are better for computer sequencing software (Cakewalk, Cubase, etc) since they can include track names and are more easily edited than Type 0 files.
Some of our MIDI files come with a rough melody line to guide you through the track. You can delete this melody line as necessary using any MIDI sequencer/editor or you can contact us and we'll do it for you.
Because we aim to provide backing tracks that can be used in live performances, none of our MIDI files fade out at the end - each song has a suitable ending.
